Resolved: Discountmugs - Printed order with poor quality. Agreed to redo & sent exact same quality mugs!
Refund granted by Discount Mugs.
I've ordered from Discount Mugs for three years without issue. This year we even ordered early to avoid the rush.
Regardless, our order came ten days later than originally scheduled and the print quality was so poor the mugs were useless. After I sent images of both the proof I signed off on and the mug as delivered, and three previous mugs w/proofs that they did correctly. DM agreed to reprint our order noting the lack of color, the change in the graphics from proof and the overall washed out appearance of the images. The new mugs were delivered and NO change was made.
The new mugs were exactly the same as the first! Now I have a couple hundred worthless mugs. I've spent over $300 and have wasted all my time.
I'm now dealing with a local printer and frankly the small extra charge per cup is worth the peace of mind. I'm not sure what happened at DM over the past year, but the production quality of their mugs is unacceptable.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $800.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Discount Mugs agreed to refund the money. I was suprised after early conversations indicated they were not.
I didn't take a partial refund as they first suggested.
I contacted American Express. And, Discount Mugs agreed to a full refund.
If you are truly from Pinnacle, you have more than enough cash to take a tiny hit like $800 which wouldn't even buy one beat up Saint-Gaudens much less the fabulous rarities sold by Pinnacle.
Claim the loss on you tax return next April.
I hope that's not what a wealthy, powerful company like Pinnacle was planning to send its customers as a gratuity.
Hmmm, $60,000.00 DCAM Liberty Double Eagles vs. a cheap $4 Chinese coffee cup.
